It would be nice to go back to the GP's ol times of working hours - A&E wouldn't be so busy!!! I would always want to use my own GP for emergencies and would not dial 111 (out of hours). Bring back the GP's hours

Some of the male doctors appear unapproachable and inpatient. You often feel that you are not being listened to and when going to them for pain relief for an ongoing condition that you have had for many years, don't seem to listen to what you need, just seem to be following some ridiculous government guideline rather than actually care about giving the patient the correct pain relief. It seems that these days children are supposed to suffer more before given adequate treatment, for example, no treatment for verrucas anymore. Letting youngsters suffer longer with tonsillitis rather than give them relief. No longer removing tonsils, letting children suffer regular bouts of sickness and then them missing precious time off school. Who benefits?

I have had problems and the doctor referred me to consultants to try and sort out the problems but to no avail. Thank you so much for trying as I now know where I stand. I also suggest when we make an appointment ask us if we would like a 10 minute or 20 minute appointment as I have been turned away once 10 minutes are up.

As a mother of a five year old and a one year old, it is such a massive relief to me always to be able to see a doctor on the day I need to with the children. I've never waited more than 15 minutes, the surgery is spotless, the administrative and support staff are efficient and calm and the doctors themselves are without exception wonderful. I've never felt as though time has been too short to talk something through, I've always had my questions answered fully and I've never been patronised. The medical staff are brilliant with children; charming, funny and kind. This really is how a doctors surgery ought to be.
